LEK Study terms of use
Version of [publication date]. Draft, subject to legal review before publication. This is a translation for convenience; in case of discrepancies the Polish version prevails.
1. Service provider
The LEK Study app is provided by Insoft Solutions Artur Lenart, ul. Bagno 8, 27-420 Bodzechów, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 6612300015, e-mail: [email protected].
2. What the app is
LEK Study is an educational app for preparing for the Polish Final Medical Examination (LEK). It contains questions published by the Medical Examinations Centre in Łódź (Centrum Egzaminów Medycznych, cem.edu.pl), used under the terms of the CEM Director's offer, with the source and the date they were obtained. English versions come from CEM's English materials; questions CEM has not published in English were translated by us and are marked in the app. LEK Study is not a CEM app and is not affiliated with CEM.
The app is for educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice. As CEM states: the content of the questions may not reflect current medical knowledge and cannot be the basis for diagnostic or therapeutic decisions. Results in the app do not guarantee an exam result.
3. Free version and Premium
The free version includes, among others, 20 questions a day and 1 exam a day. Premium is paid access for a chosen period (30, 90 or 180 days) without daily limits, with full exams and the additional features described in the app. The current features and prices are shown in the app before purchase.
A Premium purchase is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. A purchase while Premium is active extends access from the day it ends.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms. Prices include VAT. Refunds for purchases are handled by the store where the purchase was made.
5. Right of withdrawal
Premium is digital content delivered immediately after purchase. Under consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply if, before the purchase, you consent to the immediate start of delivery and acknowledge the loss of that right. [to be confirmed with a lawyer, depending on how Google Play and the App Store implement this]
6. Account
The account is free and optional. Do not share your login details with others – Premium is intended for one person. We may restrict access in the case of obvious sharing of an account between many people. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
7. Complaints
Send complaints about how the app works or about errors in the content to [email protected]. We will reply within 14 days. Payment complaints are handled by the store (Google Play / App Store).
8. Personal data
How we process data is described in the Privacy policy.
9. Changes to the terms
We will inform you about changes in the app or on this page. Changes do not affect Premium purchased before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution (e.g. the ODR platform, consumer ombudsmen).
